I’m Ashton Zager. Meet my husband, Hubs.
It all started on a starry night. Hubs was hanging out with our friend and my roommate at the time, Stormye, at our house. I was coming home from work in my really cute work uniform (a suit...minus the jacket but including a red bow tie). He was wearing a red polo. I smelled like fish. The next day he called and asked me on a date and the rest is history. We got engaged about a year later and were married 9 months after that. We moved to Asheville, North Carolina to live in the mountains and find some adventure right after we were married and we've been here for a little over a year now a year and a half. Hubs works for the YMCA as a Manager in Child Care Services and I'm living out my dream as a chef at a YoungLife camp here called Windy Gap. In August, we became parents to our baby boy, Gatsby. We became fake parents to our foreign exchange student, Marcel in August and dog parents to Albus in early October. He's got a pretty sweet instagram @albustheneo
